So Corporate America is at it in full force, luring out those undecided voters with offerings of free food, just for presenting an "I Voted" sticker on this Election Day.
It seems that in order to ensure more blind faithfulness to a broken system and a lie of democracy, Joe Sixpack is being promised good in return for his last minute vote, a vote that almost certainly was made while driving past the hundreds of Candidate Advertisements on the roadsides or standing in line at his polling place.
This kind of voting is inherently wrong because it means that our Patriotic Citizen has no real idea about where their candidate of choice stands on the issues, what their candidates decisions mean on a national or global scale, or other ramifications of their decision to pull the lever in favor of the last name or commercial they saw.
Voting just because you can is not the same as voting because you should.
If you go into your polling place only because tradition tells you you should, Starbucks promises you coffee, or you feel some patriotic duty to blindly pull a lever, punch a card, darken a circle or press a button, then you have just taken part in the degredation of everything that should make our political system great.
Commercialism has become our new way of life, and no longer do we get to choose the best person for the job; rather, we get to choose the most preferred brand out of the two selected for us.
Thanks, but I'll pay for my coffee if it means I didn't have to sacrifice my morals to vote for the lesser of two evils.

Statistics
27,499,638 - Population of Iraq
1,200,000 - Estimated civilian death toll in last 4 years.
Over 4% of the population of Iraq has died because of the "war on terror."
So who are the real terrorists?

Amazing...
This is one of the most inspiring clips I have ever seen.
Enjoy, because nothing I could write on this blog today will come close to the message of this video.

Let's March
Ron has called for a march on Washington DC to demand peace, liberty and freedom from opresssive and excessive taxation. (See above video at 11 minute mark)
These are two events in the planning stages:
http://www.taxday08.com/ (04/15/08 march date)
http://www.ronpaulmarch.com (06/08/08 march date)
Obviously, splitting this into two events would likely split attendance as well, so impact would be lessened.
All supporters should unite and decide on one day to do this.
Imagine 50,000+ Americans marching on Washington to support peace, freedom and prosperity, all under the banner of the Ron Paul campaign.
The media could not ignore it.
No one could.
*update: The Ron Paul campaign has formed an official exploratory committee to plan a major march on Washington DC. Refer to ronpaul2008.com for any updates on the official Ron Paul March.

What a gong show...
5:59am - I arrive at polling place and wait 5 minutes while the lady at the front desk figures out what room I am supposed to vote in for my precinct.
6:04am - I find the room and go to check in. Told that I was "too early" and they needed a few more minutes to prepare. Told to wait out in the hall.
6:10am - Admitted to the table to vote. A man had cut in front of me in line and was the first person to the table. They gave him an I.D. card and told him to step down to the next station to log in in order to use one of the Sequoia touchscreen devices. All five of the officials gather around to assist him in figuring out how to sign in. Nobody knows how to operate the machine. Nobody is assisting the 20+ people who are now lined up waiting to vote.
6:20am - An older gentleman finally turns to me, then turns away and asks where to put the stack of paper ballots on the table. Another gentleman who seems to be in charge tells him to keep them for people who want to use a paper ballot.
6:21am - I speak up and say, "I am one of those people, I would like a paper ballot." The Man In Charge stops Older Gentleman and looks me in the eye and says, "You don't want to use those, the machine is easier." I reply, "Nah, I'll use paper, thanks."
6:22am - Man In Charge looks away and says, "No, use the machine, it will be quicker." and then turns to walk away. I reply with, "I want to make sure there is a record of my vote." The Man In Charge turns back, looks me in the eye and says, "You don't get to take it with you, so it doesn't really matter." I stand up straight, stare right back at him and say, "But at least I know it exists should there be any 'issues' later."(See post entitled 'Vote Manipulation') The Man In Charge rolls his eyes and grunts to The Older Gentleman, and then walks away.
6:25am - I turn to find a voting table and notice there are no pens at any of the stations. I find The Man In Charge and ask for a pen. He hands me a bright yellow stylus from the touchscreen machines and says, "Here you go." I pointed out the fact that the tip of this instrument was solid plastic and not for writing (a fact he was well aware of because I saw him explaining it The Older Gentleman a few minutes prior when he complained that his pen was not working.) The Man In Charge snapped back with, "No, you use this on your ballot," and then turned and walked away to assist someone else.
6:26am - I find a woman at the end of the table and ask if there are any pens for paper ballots. I explain to her that the instrument I was given was a plastic stylus and had no way to make markings. She apologized and gave me a black felt tipped-pen from a bundle on her end of the table.
6:27am - I step to an empty booth and fill out my 2 page ballot. Page 1 consists of my choice for President, Senate, Congress and then a few other candidates and positions which I did not cast a vote for because I was unaware of their platforms after searching all over the internet for details. Page 2 consists of my choices for Delegates to the Convention. Page 2 is what I care about.
6:29am - I notice the top of my ballot asks for a precinct number and initials by an official. I call over Lady With Pens to ask if these fields need to be filled out by them before I scan the ballots. She takes my completed ballots to the main table where everyone else is standing in line and checking in and stamps and initials it. At least two voters at the table glance at my sheets and then look me in the face, (a sign that they have seen my vote.) Not a big deal, I had signs in the windows of my car outside indicating my voting intentions, but it seems like it is still improper.
6:30am - I ask Lady With Pens to make sure the optical scan machine is ready for use (as I am the first person using it this morning.) She shuts the door on the side of the machine and tells me to insert my ballot. The machine quickly sucks in page 1, and then just as quickly lights up to alert me that there is a "Ballot Jam." Lady With Pens begins cursing under her breath and then wanders off to find a user manual for the machine to find out what the error means.
6:33am - I poke and prod around with the optical scanner in an attempt to find the jam. I don't do too much touching so as not to commit any kind of violation that Man In Charge can nail me with to make sure I don't get to complete the voting process.
6:35am - Lady With Pens shows back up with the user manual to the machine and discovers that nothing in the book addresses the error "Ballot Jam." I inform her that the paper receipt which printed out after the initial scan says "Ballot Jam in Rear." She pokes around the back of the scanner and then tells me she sees a sheet of paper. She loosens it and it falls down into the box. The machine then tells me it is ready for the next sheet.
6:37am - My 2nd ballot feeds through just fine and the machine informs me that the sheet was registered. Voting process complete.
That was my experience this morning, nearly 45 minutes to cast a vote for 1 President, 1 Senator, 1 Congressman and 6 Delegates. The place was extremely disorganized and it seemed that nobody working there knew how the process was supposed to work. The fact that the man running the show was very down on the idea of my use of a paper ballot bothers me a lot. The fact that the people did not know how to use the machine is concerning as well. The fact that the machine jammed on the first ballot is also worrisome.
All in all, today's hangups only reinforce my belief that the entire voting process is a sham, and that these things are set up and staged in advance.
I will continue to vote, because I would like to remain an optimist, but it is getting more and more difficult to think that way with the more I learn and experience.

There are no words...
If anyone believes me to be a conspiracy theorist or crazy on my belief that the NH primary (and possibly all others) was unsecured and likely compromised, please watch this video:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PKQEQ7qHvgM
Video was recorded by blackboxvoting.org, an elections watchdog group.
There are no words to express how sickening is the proof of insecurity demonstrated in this video.
Pay close attention to NH Secretary of State Bill Gardner.
Never was a look of impropriety more obvious.

Bin Laden Found
Houston, TX. – The image of what has now been confirmed to be the elusive Osama Bin Laden has been identified in a photograph recently made public by NASA.
It turns out that the Saudi, who is blamed for the 9/11 attacks on the U.S. World Trade Center has been hiding on the planet Mars since around 2004, when the image was first captured by the Spirit Rover.
“This is groundbreaking news,” said as unnamed NASA official. “I mean, who would have thought that he would have been right under our nose this entire time? We were so busy looking for the legendary Face on Mars that we completely overlooked an actual man on Mars.”
President Bush has already asked for an increase in the Defense budget so that the US can pursue the fugitive and finally capture the man who has been a thorn in the Bush Administration’s side since 2001.
“These men are cowards who hide on our moons and our planets, and they will be brought to justice.” Bush said in a statement issued from the White House on Thursday.
“I mean, what happens if they get a hold of our Sun? Imagine if they had a huge ball of fire at their disposal.”
Mr. Bush has asked for the additional 5 billion dollars in order to build a fleet of tankers to “Bring back that terrorist and his filthy terrorist oil” from Mars. He then added, “There’s oil on Mars, right?”

Go Fishing.
Everyone has heard the old proverb that says, "Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime."
The problem with America today is that not only have we neglected to learn how to fish, but we rely on the government to cut it up and feed us as well.
The problem with America today is that not only have we neglected to learn how to fish, but we rely on the government to cut it up and feed us as well.
Will you remain silent?
"Our lives begin to end the day we
become silent about things that matter."
~ Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
How can we be silent in an age when our Founding Fathers are considered terrorists?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZPg9MdN9Gio
How can we keep our mouths shut and sit idly by while the talking heads of media call for military suppression of peaceful protests against the current Establishment, a complete violation of 1st Amendment rights?
Must we watch silently as our civil liberties are trampled in the name of an illusion of peace?
Must we remain mute when our own economy sits on the brink of collapse and yet our government continues excessive spending to police foreign countries and 'nation build' in places that only stand to benefit the personal coffers of those in a position of authority?
When dissension becomes a crime, and when belief in personal freedom while upholding a moral standard throws up red flags, when the a belief in basic human rights becomes something that labels a person as a danger to society, we have reached a crossroads where a decision needs to be made.
Do we remain silent as the darkness closes in around us, and death overtakes us?
Or do we hold the light of truth high, and reveal what was previously hidden to everyone who has the ears to hear?
Indeed, our lives will have ended on the day we choose to remain silent.

The Right Requires Responsibility
With Super Tuesday approaching, and the General Election after that, it is vital that everyone who is able and willing should vote for the candidate who they feel will get this country to the place it needs to be.
This is a hard-earned right, fought and died for by our Patriotic predecessors and established by our Founding Fathers. However, with this right, as with all rights, comes the responsibility to do the right thing.
I would encourage everyone to get out there and learn about the candidates. Do your research. There are plenty of online sources, from the media outlets to meetup groups, Wikipedia to official campaign pages. Learn where each candidate stands on the issues. Evaluate whether their beliefs and goals are aligned with your own. Don't merely cast your vote for the frontrunner or the person voted "most likely to..." unless you can stand behind that person and be united with one voice.
If you aren't sure what the candidates stand for, and don't have any official preference other than "I like his hair" or "He is energetic," or "I've heard his name a lot," I would encourage you to do the world a favor and stay home on polling day.
Casting a vote blindly just because you can, or because everyone else is doing it is dangerous, and wrong.
Imagine if you were walking down the street, and you saw a group of people pulling on a rope. These people were grunting, and struggling, and pulling with all of their might. Now imagine you asked these people, "Why are you doing that?" to which they answered, "Because we can, and you can too!"
Would you join in and pull the rope, unaware of what was on the end or what the ultimate goal was?
Suppose with your help, the group was able to pull the rope all the way in...at which point you found that you had just assisted them in hauling an enormous ticking time bomb into the center of town. Would you feel that you had accomplished something good? Or would you have now endangered everyone around you because you blindly exercised a right without practicing responsibility?
I encourage you to think about this for the rest of the day, and ask yourself, "Am I pulling blindly?" or do you know what is on the end of that rope?
Maybe it's something that will save the day. Maybe something that will destroy us all.
It's up to you to figure it out.

Vote Manipulation
I’ve actually seen some posts on blackboxvoting.org and other message boards where people who attended caucuses in Iowa reported a lot of irregularities and secrecy with the counting and reporting. One person even provided totals for several precincts she monitored, with Ron Paul winning a couple and placing no lower than third in the others. Multiple other people had commented that Ron won in their precincts.
Michael Rivero of WhatReallyHappened.com wrote on his site:
"I received numerous emails from Iowans who had participated in the Caucus, and they were reporting Ron Paul wins in the rooms they voted in."
New Hampshire has now been thrown under the magnifier by the concerned citizens, however this story is being mostly ignored by mainstream media outlets such as CNN (Communist News Network) and Fox (Faux) News.
In some of my online research, I found a quote by Michael Collins of OpEdNews.com who has this to say:
"81% of New Hampshire ballots are counted in secret by a private corporation named Diebold Election Systems (now known as “Premier”). The elections run on these machines are programmed by one company, LHS Associates, based in Methuen, MA. We know nothing about the people programming these machines, and we know even less about LHS Associates. We know even less about the secret vote counting software used to tabulate 81% of our ballots. People like to say “but we use paper ballots! They can always be counted by hand!”
But they’re not. They’re counted by Diebold. Only a candidate can request a hand recount, and most never do so. And a rigged election can easily become a rigged recount, as we learned in Ohio 2004, where two election officials were convicted of rigging their recount…"
This immediately brought to mind a video segment I had seen with Lou Dobbs where they showed how easily the Diebold machines are hacked and manipulated.
Video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=261IlYmisyE
Ben Moseley of benmoseley.blogspot.com wrote in a post:
"I don't intend to sound off alarm bells, but the question does need to be asked, as we have seen signs of this in the past, such as in Ohio during the 2004 general election. I just spent the last two hours putting together a spreadsheet of the Democratic results of the NH primary for each town with almost all but a few towns reporting, and the results were somewhat surprising. (Note: This is also without including nearly 2500 write-ins due to time constraints.)
I say "somewhat" because some people will say this entirely foreseeable. What the informal statistics show is that Hillary Clinton received a 4.5% boost in towns using Diebold voting machines compared to towns that didn't. Meanwhile, Obama was hurt in these towns showing a 2.5% decrease in the Diebold towns.
...Some more statistics from the data shows that Obama in non-Diebold towns garnering 38.7% of the vote to Clinton's 36.2%. The results in Diebold towns show the exact opposite: Clinton with 40.7% of the vote and Obama with 36.2%. Not only are the positions swapped but the informal statistics have the second place candidate holding 36.2% in both cases, which could easily be a pure coincidence. What doesn't make a lot of sense to me right now and this could be a mathematical mistake on my part is where Clinton got the extra 2% of votes in Diebold towns. All the other numbers almost exact for every candidate, even Edwards who received 17% of the vote in Diebold towns compared to 17.6% in non-Diebold towns..."
The video here: http://www.fliggo.com/video/sk0SiTCu shows a former computer programmer who was asked by the Speaker of The House of Florida to write a simple program for rigging the vote testifying before a court.
Now we have admissions of fraudulent results in New Hampshire, as you’ll read in the linked article. The article reveals a blatant example of erroneous results that people have been speculating about since the beginning.
Considering the admission of irregularity in this story was outright exclusion of Dr. Paul, we also have to now wonder what sort of vote moving and miscounting was also possibly taking place with the machine voting for all the candidates.
Enjoy the read, and remember what Stalin said…
"Those who cast the votes decide nothing. Those who count the votes decide everything."
